When you think of the word silence what do you think about. do you think about being in a quiet room.Taking yourself for a lovely country walk. For when I think of the word silence, I think how can I make my mind quiet after such a busy day. For we all need our own space from time to time. just to enjoy the stillness of the day. so when we are in our room of silence or on that country walk, sometimes our minds are still racing going round and round and round. but there our several techniques to quieten the mind. one is simply take deep breaths in and out nice and slowly and start counting 1 take a deep breath in and out 2 take a deep breath in and out 3 take a deep breath in and out 4 take a deep breath in and out, 5 take deep breath in and out. You will be notice how quickly you start to relax, and as you relax this helps you quieten the mind slowing everything down allowing you these precious moments to be still.Also if you were dwelling on a problem before ,then more often than not you will notice how easily it is to find a solution.Till next time.
